Team moana ski trip 2020

 Hi, Last week, I went on a ski trip to Mt Ruapehu with my class Team Moana. It was a really long drive down to  National Park . Every one got really excited once we arrived at Piper's Lodge because there was ping pong and we watched movies. My parent was Graeme. He was really funny. The fun part was skiing Here are some photos of me skiing and falling asleep on the bus.

Space writing

This week we been doing space writing about what it would be like for us to be in space. We used our puncuation to help us with our storys like exclimation marks and question marks to show our actions. I really enjoyed writing about what it would be like in space. Here is my space writing.

Ryming couplets

Hello, this week we have been learning how to do ryming couplets in our poems. Ryming couplets are two senteces  and the last word on each sentences have to ryme. I  enjoyed learning ryming couplets with class. Here is my poem with my ryming couplets.

Cooper's Beach Camp Term 4 2019

Greats and Grands 2019

Last Friday we had Greats and Grands day. My Aunty did not come because she could make it. We did performance and dancing. We had delicious morning tea and playing games.

Yesterday we had our school science fair. My science investigation was about Birds and seeds.

For the last two weeks we have been working on writing speeches.
My topic was why are doctors important
We had to present them in front of our class.
I think  my speech was great.

Here is my speech.   Can you imagine what life would be like without doctors? A doctor is a person who has studied many years at university and has a doctorate in medicine. I believe they are very important people in our communities and here is why.

Firstly doctors are important because when we are sick the doctors help. They take our temperature and they have a look if there are bugs in our mouth. They can give pills or liquid to make us better.

Secondly doctors are nice and gentle and caring. When you have a wound they gently clean it and very carefully bandage it. The doctors are nice because they try to make you feel happy.

Finally doctor Important because they make sure we have the right medicine. If we don't know what medicine we need and we take 
the wrong medicine we could get really sick and end up in hospital
And we don’t want that.

That is why I think doctors are important and maybe one day I will become a doctor or a nesre so I can help people when they are sick

We sketched our bean plants that we grew in class. We then wrote words around the outside to describe the bean plant. We had to use these words to write a piece of descriptive writing. Finally we have landed in mars.  Did you knowIn our days there were no pencils or pens we had to use secret devices. We had a desk that were made out of rock a little girls name is called Feleaseaer.  Feleaseaers two friends are called Mollie and Angeler. Feleaseaers teacher is called miss Harmen. All the children in Miss Harmens class like to bully her but Feleaseaers and her two friends didn’t bully her. Lets get back to the secret devises. The secret devices were called mind information. They have plages that go to you body they are just like a book but better and smarter they are very smart what they do to get the smartnes in them they have to get the smartnes in them is plage it  into them then they will get it for ever.

Once Feleaseaer said is people really smarter then robots.  Feleaseaers teacher Miss harmen said yes!! They are more smarter then us. Yay the bell rang for lunch time and did  you no that there has never been sun light in the hole younevers. At the end of the night we had played last one to the house. This is how you play last one to the house one of the people have to be the house is the mail box the people that are not in has to try and touch the mail box without being taged the first one the is taged has to be in next  round. Feleaseaers

Father brought a new flash car. It had a video games in it. Feleaseaers fathers name was called Mike. Feleaseaers class  was all dark and it was see though it look like it had stars all over it. Little cleaning robots cleaned the class room. There was a tablet that tou had to preas botons to get food and it was like a video game.Feleaseaer wanted a apple pie  for the deasert and a mash potato for the lunch. She said what a lovely school. Feleaseaers had to fly to her class room but the other chidren had been going on fancy cars with pan cacks and other cool things like tvs that you did’t have to change they change all by them self. But Feleaseaers was use to it.By the ways my teacher lives in a strawberry so she can get to school faster.The hole scool have to jump though the magic colorfull pourtill to get home.The people that were in the fancy cars were kick out because the cars were brockin and  Feleaseaers did not get jellise.

Christmas poem

Today in Team Awa we made a  Christmas poem . We made it on a google docs. First we had to sketch a Christmas tree. Secondly we made a poem about Christmas and how special it is. Then we cut out the Christmas tree and glued it on to our poem. I hope you like it:

Greats and Grands Day

My Aunty is so cheeky like a puppy trying to steal the meat off the bench. My Aunty gives us warm hugs like a big bear squeazing a lemon to make juice. My Aunty is sweet, because on christmas she brings

us lots of presents. My Aunty is so nice and kind to us because she makes me feel happy when Im lonely. My Aunty is so kind becuse she makes me feel alot more special than my brother and sister. My Aunty is always there for me when I feel sad. My Aunty is so nice that she puts a smile on my face.That is why I love my Aunty to the moon and back. Thanks Aunty Heather.
