This term we made vaseline saucers for pet day. The judges them. We made them out of petals and I used all sorts of colours to make my vaseline saucer.I hope you  like it.

Finally we have landed in mars.  Did you knowIn our days there were no pencils or pens we had to use secret devices. We had a desk that were made out of rock a little girls name is called Feleaseaer.  Feleaseaers two friends are called Mollie and Angeler. Feleaseaers teacher is called miss Harmen. All the children in Miss Harmens class like to bully her but Feleaseaers and her two friends didn’t bully her. Lets get back to the secret devises. The secret devices were called mind information. They have plages that go to you body they are just like a book but better and smarter they are very smart what they do to get the smartnes in them they have to get the smartnes in them is plage it  into them then they will get it for ever.

Once Feleaseaer said is people really smarter then robots.  Feleaseaers teacher Miss harmen said yes!! They are more smarter then us. Yay the bell rang for lunch time and did  you no that there has never been sun light in the hole younevers. At the end of the night we had played last one to the house. This is how you play last one to the house one of the people have to be the house is the mail box the people that are not in has to try and touch the mail box without being taged the first one the is taged has to be in next  round. Father brought a new flash car. It had a video games in it. Feleaseaers fathers name was called Mike. Feleaseaers class  was all dark and it was see though it look like it had stars all over it. Little cleaning robots cleaned the class room. There was a tablet that tou had to preas botons to get food and it was like a video game.Feleaseaer wanted a apple pie  for the deasert and a mash potato for the lunch. She said what a lovely school. Feleaseaers had to fly to her class room but the other chidren had been going on fancy cars with pan cacks and other cool things like tvs that you did’t have to change they change all by them self. But Feleaseaers was use to it.By the ways my teacher lives in a strawberry so she can get to school faster.The hole scool have to jump though the magic colorfull pourtill to get home.The people that were in the fancy cars were kick out because the cars were brockin and  Feleaseaers did not get jellise.

Christmas poem

Today in Team Awa we made a  Christmas poem . We made it on a google docs. First we had to sketch a Christmas tree. Secondly we made a poem about Christmas and how special it is. Then we cut out the Christmas tree and glued it on to our poem. I hope you like it:

Art term 4

This term we have completed two pieces of art.

One was inspired by an artist named Kadinsky who used coloured circles in his work. We looked at the contrast between warm and cool colours and the black and white of the buildings. Our second piece was using the Maori words we have learnt and using these to create a visual picture. The words become the shape of the picture.

Some things I did well were my lines and patterns on my buildings.

One thing I could improve on is writing neatly.

Greats and Grands Day

Last week we had our Greats and Grands day. We wrote poems for our grandparents.

Here is my poem about why my grandparents are so special.

My Aunty is so cheeky like a puppy trying to steal the meat off the bench. My Aunty gives us warm hugs like a big bear squeazing a lemon to make juice. My Aunty is sweet, because on christmas she brings

us lots of presents. My Aunty is so nice and kind to us because she makes me feel happy when Im lonely. My Aunty is so kind becuse she makes me feel alot more special than my brother and sister. My Aunty is always there for me when I feel sad. My Aunty is so nice that she puts a smile on my face.That is why I love my Aunty to the moon and back. Thanks Aunty Heather.

Hi today we have been doing some sreencastify and I am going to use  it now because my teacher taught me and I have made a video about my learning.

Basic facts test Term 3

 Yesterday we did a basic facts test and I am good at doing 10,20,100 and  I have learnt way more than before. Now when I had my last test I got only 39 out of 60 now when I looked at my other test that I done yesterday and this time I got 43 out of 60 so I have done really good. I need to get faster so I can fill in the whole page.

We have been learning about how to use thing link. We use thing link to tell everyone to stop littering.so first we made a world and then we had to make this comment on the dots to put the comments into the dots and we had to do this to show them what is happening to our world.

kauri trees

Hi, we have been learning about kauri trees and we have art of the our kauri trees so first we had to get a white crayon and then we had to dye the paper for the blue sky and the background. Next we had to do the trunk. So for the trunk, we had to dip our finger into the pant and get some of the pant for our trunk. Then we had to make some colour for  the leaves. Finally we had to write some things for our kauri trees.

The hot air balloon race

This week we have used a picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we
had to carry on the story. What I like about my writing is It made a picture in my head.

I need to improve on putting full stops and capital letters in my writing. We also made a google draw
showing the things that we would take with us in on the balloon.

The Hot Air Balloon

The giant colourful hot air balloon floated like butterflies.
The hot air balloon flew over the big, green, tall pine trees and
all over the world. There were lots of sheep and cows and
horses. There was three players. There is Savannah and Cruz
and I. The first to go to Australia and then India will win a hot
air balloon medal for winning. Savannah won so she was in the
finals and the next race I will be racing Cruz and I'm sure that I
will win next time. I like hot air balloons, they are incredible.
I am proud  of Savannah, she is so lucky.

Golf

We have been learning how to play golf.

I liked the finals and when we had a competition to see who was able to hit the ball the furthest.

I am good at swinging the club correctly.

I need to work on learning how to lift the ball off the ground.

Animal Town

This week we have used another picture as motivation for our writing. We had a story starter and then we had to carry on the story.

What I like about my writing is week as i was able to write more.

I need to get better at writing more with more interesting words in it

 I want to be a meerkat that  is a nurse and can help little
meerkats. When I go back home I saw a bright yellow van.
I jumped  in it and there was a giraffe, a zebra, an orangutan
so I helped them because they were sick too.I live in a tree.
I live on my own  and I like to eat burgers.

We have been working towards becoming a confident swimmer by learning how to be a safe swimmer. We learnt that we should always swim with an adult and to always wear a life jacket when we are on a boat. At our swimming lessons we have learnt how to float, kick, glide and use rainbow arms and we are still learning to breathe correctly.
